In this entertaining presentation and learning experience, Robert Eyler discussed what the current national and local economy means for our industry. He focused on economic trends in California, considerations after the North Bay fires, material costs & labor market issues and the future in the Bay Area.  Details:

  • Provide an economic outlook and speak on the current aspects of the US economy, both the good as well as the concerning
  • Give an understanding of the links between current and forecasted growth, Federal Reserve changes to come, and how equity markets may or may not affect remodeling demand
  • Illuminate hiring, budgets, and other planning to aid in decision making for your business given the economic forecast

About the Speaker:
Dr. Robert Eyler is President of Economic Forensics and Analytics, specializing in public policy analysis for firms and governments. He is also Dean of the School of Extended and International Education and Professor of Economics at Sonoma State University. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis and a B.A. in Economics at CSU, Chico. Robert has been a visiting scholar at both the University of Bologna and Stanford University. Robert is a Sonoma County native, and his family have been sheep and cattle ranchers in Marin and Sonoma counties since 1910.
