Celebrating Excellence: The 2026 Golden Gate Design Awards
The Northern California Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) brings together the region's kitchen and bath design professionals — and each year, its Golden Gate Design Awards celebrate the very best of their work. Entry was open to members and non-members alike within the counties served by the chapter, making this a true showcase of local talent, built by the designers, remodelers, and craftspeople shaping homes right here in the Bay Area and beyond.
This year's entries were evaluated by a panel of industry professionals on craftsmanship, innovation, functionality, and that harder-to-define quality that turns a beautifully built room into a truly lived-in space. From sweeping estate kitchens to ingeniously reimagined powder rooms, the winners featured on the following pages represent the best of what Northern California's design community has to offer — proof that thoughtful design, at any scale, has the power to transform daily life.
